Multiple OS in VPS Servers
We provide as many as three different Linux releases for the Operating System of our VPS servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are some of the most stable and reliable OSs available on the market and we supply all 3 rather than only one since we realize that you might want to set up some software with specific requirements regarding the Operating System it shall run on. The latter is due to the fact that each of the three Operating Systems has a vast support community behind it and there're different software programs you may install on the web server. Your OS choice will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be set up on the VPS if you wish to use one and because of this we offer several Control Panels as well. If you ever decide that you need to have a different OS, our technical support can quickly wipe the current one and install the one that you would like. In addition, we offer an optional service to maintain the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server plans - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're freely available and they won't increase the cost of your new server, but also because they are really secure and stable. Each one of them is supported by a huge community of web developers, so you will be able to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you may install on your server if the app that you intend to use has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and since we want to give you as much adaptability as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. In case you get a server with a certain Operating System, we can change it upon request in the event that it turns out that you'll need another one. We can also keep your OS updated weekly as part of the optional Managed Services upgrade.
